Nadia is Mi’gmaq from Esgenoôpetitj First Nation and also proudly Palestinian — two identities that ground her and guide the work she does. She graduated from UNB Fredericton with a degree in Finance and a minor in Economics, and spent several summers in Indigenous internship programs that helped her explore different career paths and build meaningful early experience.
She later worked as a Software Tester with PLATO Testing, where she discovered how much she enjoyed problem-solving, working with data, and breaking down complex information. Those skills, combined with her academic background and her drive to support community-focused work, eventually led her to her current role as a Policy Analyst/Researcher for the Support Lodge. In this position, she brings together her technical abilities, analytical mindset, and passion for contributing to work that benefits her community.
Outside of work, Nadia enjoys beadwork and making lanyards — a creative outlet that keeps her connected to culture. She’s also a big gaming fan, and Mario Kart is her all-time favourite aside from Animal Crossing.
